This decision wasn’t taken lightly. We’ve been experiencing frequent and extended downtimes with our current card partner, which has unfortunately affected some users’ ability to fund and use their dollar cards consistently.
We’re committed to providing dependable dollar cards and to ensure a consistently smooth experience, we’re upgrading our dollar card service by partnering with a new provider. This will allow us to relaunch a dollar card service that’s better and more dependable than before.

Why is the dollar card feature temporarily paused?

To ensure a smooth user experience, we are temporarily pausing the dollar card feature while we upgrade to a better and more dependable card partner.
When will the temporary pause on the dollar card take effect?
The dollar card feature will be temporarily paused starting June 1st, 2024. From that day, users will be unable to create, fund, or use their dollar cards.
We understand this may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any discomfort this may cause.
Will other features of the app still work?
Yes! Users can continue to use all other features of the app, such as savings and crypto trading, while the dollar card feature is on hold.
How long will the dollar card feature be paused?
We don’t have a specific time frame yet, but we’re currently upgrading to a new card partner to relaunch a better and more dependable dollar card service as soon as possible. We’ll keep you updated on our progress through in-app announcements and emails.
Can I still use my existing dollar card balance?
Yes. You can use up your card balance between today and June 1st, 2024.
Once the temporary pause kicks in, you won’t be able to use your dollar card and your remaining dollar card balance will be credited into your naira wallet.
What will happen to existing dollar cards?
Dollar cards will remain inactive during the pause.
Can I still add funds to my dollar card?
No, you won’t be able to add funds to your dollar card while the feature is paused. This is to ensure that there are no funds pending in your account that cannot be used.
Will you be charging fees during the pause?
We will waive any monthly or inactivity dollar card fees during this temporary pause.
